Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American political advisor, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009), the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) and the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Between 2005 and 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was also the press secretary for the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013. 20 years ago, she was employed by the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his spot on May 30, 2014. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration.
